Senate Bill S510 – Illegal to Grow or Distribute Homegrown Food

Bill S 510

Shared by the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center

A most dire bill is up before the U.S. Senate currently.

We are calling you to respond to this with the force of your intentions and actions. S 510, the Food Safety Modernization Act of 2010, may be the most dangerous bill in the history of the US.

According to Dr. Shiv Chopra, “If accepted [S 510] would preclude the public’s right to grow, own, trade, transport, share, feed and eat each and every food that nature makes. It will become the most offensive authority against the cultivation, trade and consumption of food and agricultural products of one’s choice. It will be unconstitutional and contrary to natural law or, if you like, the will of God.

It is similar to what India faced with imposition of the salt tax during British rule, only S 510 extends control over all food in the US, violating the fundamental human right to food.”

Please write your State Senators today by going to

This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard from this "so-called" government.

Although this government is ridiculous with all the unneccessary bills and laws, I read the bill. And I did not see the word SEED even once, nor did I read anything that would make me think that it would infringe on my own personal rights. If someone can explain the intent behind this, otherwise we are all propogating fears.

I agree with Bob on this one. I read the bill (not just the articles I'm finding that all thay the same thing) and couldn't find anything that makes it illegal to grow food at home. Please find what I missed and make it clearer to me!

This is Codex Alimentarius! Dr. Rima Laibow warned us about this for a while. This bill will also corrupt organic farming, mandates the use of GMO's, criminalizes seed banks, mandates the use of pesticides on ALL crops in large doses, mandates computer chips in ALL animals, mandates the injection of growth hormones and antibiotics in ALL food animals, and so on. ALL OF OUR FOOD WILL BE POISON!!!!
